SAVE THE DATE! We are coordinating Volunteers for this year's event, from our own club and anyone in the public who is interested in working at a super fun Wine festival, where you will be able to also participate! This event will be a Fundraiser for our club, and we will have an opportunity to setup our own tent/booth if we choose. Stay tuned and provide input on this event! Event Website: https://breckenridgewineclassic.com/ Grand Tasting: Friday, September 16th and Saturday, September 17th The Classic’s Grand Tasting features an impressive selection of hundreds of domestic and international wines, plus premium craft beer and spirits. In an effort to provide a better and safer tasting experience for our patrons, we’ll be hosting multiple sessions of the Grand Tasting. All sessions will feature the same beverages and samples. Located in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado prepare for a unique sensory immersion. Get Early Access Tickets for extra time at the festival. Event also includes Lifestyle & Classroom Seminars and Wine Dinners & Pairings. Types of ShiftsSet Up CrewThese volunteers will work as a team to get the event facility ready, performing duties including, but not limited to: popping tents, setting up tables and chairs, moving product into place, setting up merchandise, beer mugs and ticket stations, hanging banners and signs, moving ice, placing trash cans. Please let us know in advance if you have any physical limitations. As this role can be fairly physical, we do have duties that are less demanding. Recommended clothing: pants or shorts to get a little messy in, supportive shoes and work/gardening gloves. ![]() Event CrewThese volunteers will work to keep the event running smoothly. Roles include, but are not limited to: welcoming and directing patrons, checking ids, assisting with will-call, taking tickets, distributing programs and mugs, and selling merchandise. Volunteers will assist wine representatives in keeping tables clean, dumping spit buckets, emptying trash, replenishing ice, and breaking down tables, tents and chairs. Recommended clothing: nice pants or shorts, and comfortable shoes as you will most likely be standing for an extended period of time. ![]() Seminar CrewThese volunteers will work with the Classic staff to set and turn rooms for classroom-style seminars. Roles include: assisting speakers in distributing materials, pouring, cleaning glassware, taking tickets, and greeting patrons. Hours vary for this role on Friday and Saturday.
